The Stone Creek Elementary Ukulele band played at the the DEF’s Paver Dedication Ceremony. The DEF awarded a grant to the Stone Creek music teacher to purchase the ukuleles.
Wineteer Elementary School’s Makinzie Hogan worked to install two sensory pathways at her school. The purpose of the sensory pathways is to offer students a break throughout the day and an outlet to expend excess energy. The Derby Education Foundation awarded a grant to Makinzie to help with the funding for the pathway.
